If you have concerns about what a “class” you want to teach can be: whether it is basic instruction on how to make or do something (example: canning preserves), information/lecture/discussion about a specific topic that the organizer(s) of a class feels knowledgeable about (example: historical events/movements, literary or art theory about an author or artist), introduction to a site/place of interest (example: day trip), there are many different ways that we can collaborate and organize events to help educate each other. Use your imagination!
To organize a class, all you have to do (other than plan/organize it), is add the name of the event, time/location, and a short explanation of what will transpire to our EVENTS CALENDAR. You do not have to sign up for anything or create an account to use the calendar. All you need to do is to click the “add event” link at the bottom lefthand corner of the webpage. If you have any questions or would like to be added to our mailing list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org!
P.S. Just FYI, please try and provide a detailed and accurate description of what the class is going to be; if a post is up for more than a few days on the calendar without any information about the class, it might be taken down. Also try and keep the details about the event as close to accurate as you can! (time, location, etc)
